In a shocking turn of events, Edo State Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu, made an audacious attempt to forcefully enter the personal office of the Governor on Monday. Accompanied by his security aides, Shaibu arrived at the Office of the Governor on Dennis Osadebey Avenue in the early hours of the morning, seemingly determined to confront his superior.
However, upon arrival, Shaibu was informed that the governor was not yet present in his office. Despite this, the Deputy Governor persisted in his efforts to gain access to the Governor's personal office, disregarding pleas from security operatives to reconsider his actions. Instead, he continued to push against the gate, causing a commotion and drawing attention from concerned observers.
Worryingly, these observers fear that Shaibu's relentless pursuit may escalate into a physical attack on the governor.
