The Edo State Commissioner for Roads and Bridges, Hon Ethan Uzamere has been presented with the Leadership Impact Africa Merit Award as the most outstanding Commissioner in the Governor Obaseki-led administration.
According to the body, Leadership Impact Africa Magazine, they have painstakingly examined and followed his accomplishments in the various sectors he has served in and was considered as a perfect choice for the award.
According to Dr. Joachim Omenegwe, the Editor in Chief/CEO and Comrade Joseph Odion, the Managing Editor, they said, "Given your performance and accomplishments as Chief of Staff and as Commissioner for Mining and Energy, Leadership Impact Africa decided to reward you and appreciate you with an award."
"Your accomplishments as Commissioner for Mining and Energy contributed immensely to the successes recorded by the Governor Obaseki-led administration, mostly in the Energy and Mining sectors, which includes the Modular Refinery, Ossiomo Power Plant, Ajoki Gas Power Electricity Project, Public and Private Partnership in the Mining Sector, Provision of Security in the Mining Sites, Elimination of Illegal Miners, Reopening of Dagbala Mining Site, among others. You have imprinted indelible mark of achievements in the sand of times as Honorable Commissioner for Mining and Energy in Edo state."
They added that: "With these sterling qualities and achievements the Obaseki-led administration deemed it fit to appoint you as the man with the finesse and savoir faire to lead and take the Road and Bridges in Edo state to the next level."
On his part, Uzamere appreciated the organization for considering him for the award, adding that he remains committed and resolute to promoting activities which will enhance the growth of the state.
