She scored 28 votes out of 30 votes and was declared winner by Elder Tim Osadolor. The crowd erupted with songs and joy to celebrate the victory.
Hon. Eghe Ogbemudia is a well-known grassroots politician who has long been involved in community development. She is deeply committed to the development of Egor and has promised to bring about more development to Egor by hitting the ground running in her efforts to effect positive change.
Hon. Eghe Ogbemudia thanked the delegates for their tremendous support following her victory. She recommitted to working relentlessly to guarantee that the welfare of Egor people are protected.
"I am humbled by the trust and confidence that the delegates have placed in me. I promise to work hard to bring about the kind of development that the people of Egor deserve. My focus will be on consolidating on my achievements in my first term by providing basic amenities, clean water, prioritizing education and security, healthcare, as well as creating job opportunities for our youth," Hon. Eghe Ogbemudia said.
The PDP Chairmanship candidate also emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration in achieving development goals. She called on all stakeholders to come together and work towards the common goal of making Egor a better place for all.
With her victory at the PDP Chairmanship Congress, Hon. Eghe Ogbemudia has been chosen as the PDP candidate in the forthcoming council election in Egor Local Government Area.
