These are the final list of candidates that will fly the People's Democratic Party flags in the forthcoming 2023 general elections, since the Supreme Court has given the party in the national level the freedom to determine who their candidates are. 

These are the candidates who have already received the party's certificate of return and who will receive INEC certificate of return after the election. They cut across the State House of Assembly candidates, the House of Representatives candidates and the Senatorial candidates and they're already putting in place political machinery in order to begin the campaign in earnest.

Our reporters who sought opinion on the preparedness of some of the parties in Edo State reports in an unbiased manner that the People's Democratic Party in Edo State is vibrant and has the structure required to win any election under the able leadership of His Excellency Mr Godwin Obaseki, the Executive Governor of Edo State. They reported that the Governor will plot the political direction and the political strategy with which to galvanize voters and coordinate campaign in a strategic manner that will result in Edo People voting massively for the PDP.
