Edo Deputy Governor, Rt Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu has Commissioned Blocks of Flats for Police Officers in Edo State.
According to him, "I was bestowed with the honour yesterday to commission the rehabilitated Nigeria Police Mobile Force Barracks in Ogida Benin. I congratulated and thanked our dear sister (Princess Dr Mrs. Rose Osula Mku-Atu) for her philanthropist gesture and I prayed to God to continue to be with her, elongate her life and protect her from every evil force."
"People like her are hope givers and they have touched a lot of lives with the resources God has given to them.
This you have done is highly commendable and encouraging, especially taking care of the set of people who haven't been well taken care of as it should be."
He also added his voice to push for the insurance scheme for the police officers to spur them to put in their best every time they remember their oath of office.
Charging the leadership of the barracks, he said: "that to whom much is given, much is expected; they must be committed to maintaining the renovated structure. We must also improve the welfare package for our security operatives so that they can continue to serve their fatherland."
