BREAKING: Governor Obaseki the Man of Action As Another Kidnapper Has Been Shot Dead Along Benin-Ekpoma Road (PHOTOS)

In what we can only describe as a testament of Governor Godwin Obaseki's working security architecture in Edo State, the state has become an uninhabitable place for kidnappers and the likes.

Against this backdrop, ikosamede.com can report that along the Benin-Ekpoma route in Edo State, a suspected Kidnapper was shot and killed.

The Nigerian Police shot and killed the unnamed man in the Obadan forest.

During a routine sweep of the Obadan woodland in the Uhumwuode local government area, the suspected kidnappers were encountered by members of the local vigilante group and the Edo State police command officers.

The  kidnappers, according to the police, are skilled at targeting and robbing unsuspecting motorists on the Benin-Auchi route near the Obadan junction.

On Sunday, August 28, 2022, at around 6 o'clock, the suspects allegedly broke into the neighborhood.

According to the police, when the suspects saw them, they opened fire, causing the armed officers to retaliate by killing one of the gang members while the others fled.

A cut-to-size barrel gun, four live rounds, a mobile phone, and a flashlight were all found at the site.

To find the rest of the group, the officers kept searching the jungle.

Police Commissioner CP Abutu Yaro praised the bravery of the agents and warned criminal organizations and their allies to leave Edo State or face fierce police pushback.
