Shaibu, Dare celebrates Edo sport icons Agnes Osazuwa, Deji Aliu, Yusuf Alli


The Honourable Minister of Youth & Sports Development, Chief Sunday Dare, AFN President, Tonobok Okowa and other stakeholders of the Nigeria Athletics Federation (AFN) joined Rt. Hon. Philip Shaibu at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium to celebrate Agnes Osazuwa one of the heroes of our great country, Nigeria, on her birthday. 

She was at the ongoing Athletics Trials for the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham and the World Athletics Championship in Oregon, USA.

Her stunning records: 
-Silver medalist at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
-4X100M Gold medalist at the 2009 Africa Championship, Nairobi Kenya.
-Africa representative at the 2009 World Cup, Croatia.
-Africa representative at the 2010 World Cup in South Korea.
-4X100M Gold medalist at the All African Games, Maputo Mozambique.
-2011 Commonwealth Games New Delhi, India.
-4X100M Gold medalist at the African Championship, Durban South Africa
-Finalist at the 2016 Olympics in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
