Egor PDP Leaders and members pay condolence visit to family of Late Edo Reps Member, Hon. Jude Ise-Idehen

Leaders and members of Egor People's Democratic Party (PDP) today, 7th July, 2022 paid a condolence visit to the family of Late Hon. Jude Ise-Idehen who was the House of Representatives Member representing Egor/Ikpoba-Okha Federal Constituency.

They were received at his residence in Benin City by the family of the deceased, represented by George Idehen who is the elder brother of Jude Ise-Idehen and a family member Mabel Edebiri. They expressed immense sadness at the demise of their brother and son stating that his death was a great shock and had dealt a huge blow to the entire family. 

The Leader of the party at Egor Chapter, Chief Comrade Odion Olaye described the late lawmaker as a man who was concerned with the betterment of his people. He stressed that he was an easy going person who was calm and friendly. He also requested that the family intimate the party of his burial activities in due course.

Commiserating with the bereaved family, he said: "The death of Ise-Idehen has left a vacuum in not just his family but also in the party. God knows best. I pray that God will grant his family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss."

Chairman of the Party in Egor, Chief Ekundayo Manfred Idehen said Jude Ise-Idehen was a peaceful man who has never showed anger to anyone. He said Jude was a son of Egor because of his love for Egor people despite the fact that he was from Ikpoba-Okha. 

He noted: "I have never seen him get angry. He was a friendly person and all of us in Egor see him as our son. Even though he came from Ikpoba-Okha, his liaison office was in Egor. His death is a great shock to all of us."

Party members took out time to recall fun memories with the late lawmaker.
Later, the LGA PDP Secretary, Moses Osarunmwese Godwin was directed to write tributes in the condolence register.

They thereafter observed a minute silence for the deceased and prayed for the repose of the soul of the lawmaker. 

Other PDP members present at the visit include Osaretin Olaye;  Emmanuel Uhunwangho; Okpaifo Victor Osayande; Gabriel Oviawe; Paul Osarenwinda; Edosa Idemudia; Stanley Idemudia; Osazee Aguebor; Stella Ogida; Madam Ateru; Florence Izevbigie; amongst others.

Recall that Hon. Jude Ise-Idehen passed away in the early hours of 1st of July, 2022 in Abuja. He was rushed to the hospital but sadly he became unresponsive. Until his death, he was the Honourable member representing Egor Ikpoba-Okha Federal Constituency and had won his party's ticket to contest for re-election.
