The memorandum of understanding (MOU) received from Newcross Petroleum Company was the focus of the meeting with representatives of Abe community laying claim that ongoing boundary issues between their community and the neighbouring community, distance issue and other related matters are the reasons why the MOU is yet to be signed by them.

According to Ethan Uzamere, "As part of the State Government’s MEGA agenda to protect its citizens and ensure they get their due benefits in terms of economic development, we intend to engage with all relevant parties aimed at proffering immediate solutions to all boundary related issues in collaboration with the security agencies."
