The Coordinator of Bendel Insurance FC of Benin, Mrs Sabina Chikere has appealed to the supporters and fans of the Club not to be disappointed with the postponement of the week 20 game against Ikorodu City FC in Benin.
Mrs Chikere appealed in her reaction to the Nigeria National League (NNL)statement, announcing the postponement of all midweek games.
The League management body issued a statement, shifting Wednesday games to Thursday morning.
" We sincerely believe that the postponement of our match with Ikorodu City may have affected our fans, especially those who travelled from outside Benin City to watch their darling team. We want you to still be available for the match tomorrow morning. Do not be disappointed. " She said.
According to the statement signed by the Chief Operating Officer of the Nigeria National League Emmanuel Adesanya, all midweek matches of the NNL week 20 have been rescheduled for tomorrow (Thursday 14th July 2022 by 9 am).
"We humbly regret to inform you that our mid-week matches have been shifted to hold Thursday 14th July 2022 by 9 am.
This is due to the unenvisaged late arrival of match officials to match venues.
We humbly regret all inconveniences this shift in date may cause you.", Emmanuel Adesanya stated.
