Federal Civil Servants turned back for not taking COVID-19 vaccination

It was rowdy at the Federal Secretariat on Wednesday when Civil Servants who have not taken their Covid-19 vaccination were stopped from accessing their offices.

There were a lot of security men at the gates of all government offices demanding for COVID-19 card as evidence of full vaccination.

Those who could not provide, including visitors, were denied access to the Secretariat.

Many civil servants told The Nation they never knew that the government was going to enforce the order.

Several calls to the Director Communications Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation were not answered.
